I probably have walls a little too thick, or the antenna isn't strong enough, but I only get Mbps from 50ft away as Broadcom 802.11a/g to my other system. This one in particular replaces my asus g75vw's atheros single band wifi card, and under the 5G band, Broadcom 802.11a/g no longer gives me interference with other devices, nor intermitent connections to my router. I haven't tested it under the 2.

Alternatively, you Broadcom 802.11a/g buy this one and secure it with the aberrant use of a makeshift tension brace popsicle stick followed by false pride and subsequent loss of dignity. It clearly states in the description of the card that it is compatible with a Dell Vostro The Dell Vostro requires a 2" card. This is a mini card. I didn't realize this Broadcom 802.11a/g I opened the case after receiving the new card.
